Job summary

Capgemini is seeking a highly skilled GCP Cloud Security & Platform Engineer to design, implement, and optimize enterprise-scale cloud environments on Google Cloud Platform, with a strong focus on security, governance, and automation.

You will design and manage secure GCP environments, implement Terraform IaC, and develop reusable modules while ensuring compliance with industry security standards and best practices.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Expertise in Terraform and Infrastructure as Code implementation.
• Experience with Cloud Security Compliance and Governance.
• Deep understanding of IAM.
• Deep understanding of VPC Networking.
• Deep understanding of Firewall Rules.
• Experience with Shared VPC configurations.
• Experience with Cloud Logging & Monitoring.
• Experience with Security Command Center (SCC).
• Experience with Cloud Audit Logs.
• Experience implementing CIS benchmarks and cloud security best practices.
• Strong knowledge of cloud resilience, availability, disaster recovery and operational risk management.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated cloud deployments.
• Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and manage secure, scalable, and highly available cloud environments on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Implement and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform.
• Develop reusable Terraform modules and enforce cloud infrastructure standards.
• Automate cloud provisioning, configuration, and deployment processes.
