Job summary

HSBC Global Services Limited in the United Kingdom is seeking an experienced GCIO Operations Manager – Cybersecurity to design, implement and run operational processes across the Cybersecurity COO remit. You will work with GCIO Cybersecurity COO teams and central pillar teams to standardize service delivery.

The role focuses on governance, reporting, cost transparency and multi-year workforce and financial planning, plus third‑party management and risk oversight.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in senior executive management within financial services, ideally multinational banks.
• Strong understanding of Cybersecurity with broad technology and risk management experience.
• Experience in programme and portfolio management including delivery tracking and benefits validation.
• Ability to manage substantial financial and resource plans including forecasting and reporting.
• Ability to work across matrix organizations with People, Procurement, Finance, Risk and Transformation teams.

Responsibilities

• Define and maintain a rolling 3-year workforce plan aligned to Cybersecurity, financial plans and GCIO strategies.
• Execute workforce lifecycle activities including hiring at scale and upskilling programmes.
• Develop business cases for workforce initiatives including contractor replacement and Generative AI impacts.
• Manage multi-year financial planning and reporting for the Cybersecurity capability.
• Identify and deliver cost optimisation levers with full cost recovery and timely MI.
• Oversee third-party management from deal initiation to post-execution validation.
• Govern portfolio oversight for Cybersecurity change, including milestones and reporting.
• Coordinate governance activity for the Capability Lead and stakeholder engagement.
