Job summary

HSBC Global Services Limited is seeking a Global Head, Strategy and Performance to define how Cybersecurity sets strategy, tracks performance and reports progress enterprise‑wide. You will shape the Target Operating Model, workforce plan and executive narratives for senior stakeholders, including the Board and regulators.

You will partner across GCIO, COO and business lines to ensure coherent multi‑year strategy, trusted performance reporting, and timely investment decisions.

Qualifications

• Senior experience setting strategy and measuring impact in Financial Services or technology organisations.
• Experience developing and maintaining strategy artefacts to support multi‑year planning.
• Ability to design operating models and workforce plans aligned to strategic direction.
• Proficiency in applying scorecards, OKRs and benefit realisation to evidence outcomes.
• Clear written and presentation communication for senior stakeholders.
• Ability to engage credibly with regulators and cross‑functional partners.

Responsibilities

• Own and maintain the Cybersecurity Strategy and related artefacts for in-year and multi-year direction.
• Shape the Future‑State Architecture consistent with strategy and HSBC Value Stream principles.
• Align annual Finance & Resource Planning with the Future‑State Architecture with key partners.
• Establish and maintain the Cybersecurity Target Operating Model and organisational design concepts.
• Develop the future-state workforce in partnership with COO as roles evolve with strategy.
• Define and oversee Executive Scorecards and OKRs to track outcomes and benefits.
• Communicate the cybersecurity narrative to senior leadership, the Board and regulators.
