The role offers a Monday–Friday day pattern, with a 06:30 start, and requires a proven leader who can perform under pressure, maintain records, and provide professional service to visitors and staff.

Qualifications

• Previous supervisory experience in a security or gatehouse environment, OR a minimum of 5 years' continuous experience within a gatehouse-type environment.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• A professional, reliable and responsible approach to work.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• The ability to remain calm and make effective decisions under pressure.
• The ability to work efficiently within a busy, fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage a team of security officers within a busy gatehouse environment.
• Oversee daily gatehouse operations and ensure all procedures are followed.
• Monitor and control the entry and exit of vehicles, visitors, contractors and staff.
• Ensure compliance with site security procedures and health and safety requirements.
• Maintain accurate records, daily logs and incident reports.
• Deal professionally with incidents, queries and operational issues.
• Provide leadership, guidance and support to the security team.
• Maintain excellent standards of customer service and professionalism.
