Pinnacle Group is seeking a Gatehouse Security Officer to protect our properties and sites. The role is based in Carrington, Manchester, with standard full-time hours 9:30 am to 6 pm, Monday to Friday. Access to own transport is essential due to location and shift pattern.

You will monitor premises, perform vehicle patrols, respond to incidents and maintain thorough reports. Strong communication and adherence to security protocols are required.

Qualifications

• Valid SIA Badge – SG or DS Licence (Essential).
• UK Manual driver’s licence (Essential).
• Experience working in a gatehouse.
• Access to own transport due to location & shift patterns.
• Strong, clear communicator; you will be using Radio Control.
• Must be able to use and understand the Phonetic Alphabet.
• Full 5-year UK checkable work history.

Responsabilités

• Meet and greet visitors, staff and contractors and manage the gatehouse environment.
• Conduct routine vehicle patrols of assigned premises and detect signs of intrusion or unusual activity.
• Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies and incidents, taking appropriate action to mitigate risks.
• Liaise with local authorities, including police, emergency services or fire services in case of emergency.
• Prepare detailed and accurate incident reports, logging all security-related activities.
• Operate a telephone switchboard and use client software in the control room.

Pinnacle Group is looking for a Gatehouse Security Officer to ensure the safety and security of our properties and sites. You will be joining our Workplace Security Teams based in Carrington, Manchester M31. Access to own transport is essential as there is NO public transport to the site **

Pinnacle Workplace delivers tailored facilities management solutions across cleaning, security, catering and specialist industrial services. With nearly 600 colleagues nationwide, the team supports clients in manufacturing, retail, education and office environments.

Your role will involve monitoring premises, conducting regular vehicle patrols, responding to incidents, and maintaining detailed reports. You will need to be observant, reliable, and possess excellent communication skills.

This is a full-time role x 42 ½hours per week, working Monday to Friday 9.30 am - 6 pm.

Key Requirements Will Include

• Valid SIA Badge – SG or DS Licence * Essential
• SIA CCTV Licence * advantage
• Experience working in a gatehouse
• Holder of a UK Manual driver's licence * Essential
• Basic IT applications and digital devices
• Access to own transport * due to location & shift patterns
• Strong, clear communicator, as you will be using Radio Control
• Must be able to use and understand the Phonetic Alphabet
• Full 5-year UK checkable work history
