Job summary

Pinnacle Group is seeking a Gatehouse Security Officer to ensure the safety of our properties and sites. You will join our Workplace Security Teams based in Carrington, Manchester M31, and you must have access to transport due to site location and shift patterns.

The role is full-time (42.5 hours weekly), Monday to Friday, with duties including meeting visitors, patrolling premises, responding to alarms and compiling accurate reports. SIA badge is essential; UK manual driving licence is required.

Qualifications

• Observant and reliable security professional with strong communication skills.
• Experience in gatehouse environments and handling radio communications.
• Holder of a UK manual driving licence is essential.
• Basic IT skills and ability to use client software in a control room.

Responsibilities

• Meet and greet visitors, staff and contractors and manage the gatehouse environment.
• Conduct routine vehicle patrols and detect signs of intrusion or unusual activity.
• Respond to alarms, incidents and emergencies to mitigate risks.
• Liaise with local authorities during emergencies.
• Prepare incident reports and log security activities.
• Operate telephone switchboard and control-room software.
