Job summary

Great Bear (Part of the Culina Group) invites applications for a Gatehouse and Despatch Clerk at our Sherburn site. The role is full-time and permanent, working 2pm-10pm, five days in seven, with a salary of £25,740 per annum.

You will ingate and outgate vehicles, manage loads, liaise with Operations Controllers, allocate bays, complete inbound/outbound paperwork, and monitor site security using CCTV. A comprehensive benefits package is included.

Responsibilities

• Receipting and despatching loads in a timely and secure manner
• Dealing with drivers at inbound and outbound gates
• Liaise with Operations Controllers to allocate bays for vehicles
• Checking and sealing of vehicles on exiting with correct paperwork
• Completion of inbound and outbound paperwork accurately
• Using the inbound schedule to book deliveries into allocated slots
• Using CCTV to ensure site security
• Assist in security checks on site
