Job summary

Culina is hiring a Gatehouse Administrator on a full-time permanent basis. The role focuses on processing movement of customer products within the warehouse and across the wider network, delivering operational excellence and high accuracy.

You will support warehouse operatives, communicate with the Shift Manager, and input pre-advises for inbounds. Key duties include pre-allocating loads, compiling reports, managing dispatch times, and maintaining accurate schedules.

Qualifications

• Proficient with WMS and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience in warehousing, logistics, 3PL or transport preferred.
• Background in Goods In/Out, stock control or inventory.
• Solid customer service experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist warehouse operatives as needed.
• Maintain communication with Shift Manager and resolve issues quickly.
• Pre-allocate loads and input pre-advises for customer inbounds.
• Compile and send required reports.
• Run orders according to instructions and dispatch times.
• Move staff between areas to maintain workflow.
• Choose Loading/Un-loading Bay per needs.
• Update Electronic Schedule and Auto-store for activity accuracy.
• Investigate stock shortages on picks and monitor replenishments.
• Control equipment allocation.

Job description

As part of our, Contract division, we have an exciting opportunity to join the team as a Gatehouse Administrator on a full time permanent basis., The Gatehouse Administrator is responsible for accurately processing the movement of all of our customer products within the warehouse and around the wider network. As a Gatehouse Administrator you are pivotal in order to deliver operational excellence and customer satisfaction with a high level of attention to detail. Key Duties of a Gatehouse Administrator:

• To assist and support the warehouse operatives when required.
• Maintain good communication with the Shift Manager and confident to escape issues in a timely manner.
• Pre-allocate loads and input pre-advises for customer inbounds.
• Compile and send reports as required.
• Run orders in line with instruction and scheduled dispatch times.
• Movement of staff across work areas to maintain correct flow of activities.
• Selecting Loading / Un-loading Bay based on current operational requirements.
• Updating the Electronic Schedule and Auto-store to maintain an accurate representation of activities taking place on site.
• Carryout stock shortage investigations on picks and monitor replenishments.
• Control equipment allocation.

What you'll need

• Proficient in the use of WMS and Microsoft Excel.
• Great communication skills both written and verbal.
• Willingness to work within a warehouse environment dealing with products in and out bound and returns when required.
• Ideally you will have experience within a Warehousing/Transport/Logistics/3PL background.
• Previous Goods In/Out, Stock Control or Inventory experience.
• Have a strong Customer Service background.
