Job summary

Upham Inns is seeking a General Manager to lead one of its gastro pubs in the UK. You will manage operations, coach staff, and drive guest satisfaction while ensuring brand standards and financial performance.

You must have proven GM experience in gastro pubs, be a strong leader, and be able to work up to 48 hours weekly including evenings, weekends and bank holidays. The company offers a comprehensive development pathway and various staff perks.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a General Manager of Gastro style pub min 1 year at least.
• Proven track record of managing pub/restaurants.
• The Right to Work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Overall management of the pub in line with company procedures and brand standards.
• Lead by example with hands-on training, coaching and development of the team.
• Engage with the local community to develop repeat business and uphold the pub's reputation.
• Ensure health and safety standards for guests, team and visitors.
