Job summary

Energy Jobline ZR is seeking an experienced Gas Service & Breakdown Engineer to cover multiple East Anglia locations (NR, CO, CB, IP). The role involves servicing, maintenance, fault finding and repairs on domestic heating systems across various properties.

You will work independently, handle planned and reactive work, and maintain high professional standards for customers. On-call duties and staying compliant with Gas Safe standards are required.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in domestic gas servicing, maintenance and breakdowns.
• Current ACS and relevant domestic gas qualifications.
• Water Regulations (WREG) qualification and full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Service, maintain and repair domestic heating systems.
• Diagnose faults and carry out first-time fixes.
• Complete safety checks, certification and documentation.
• Provide excellent customer service on visits.
• Participate in on-call rota for emergencies.
• Manage vehicle stock, materials and equipment.
• Work safely in line with Gas Safe procedures.

Education

ACS qualifications (CCN1, CENWAT, CKR1, CPA1, HTR1, MET1, HWSS1, CMDDA1)

Water Regulations (WREG)

Full UK driving licence

Strong fault finding
