Job summary

Service Service is recruiting for an experienced Gas Service & Breakdown Engineer to join a well-established organisation covering multiple areas across East Anglia.

This is a field-based role carrying out servicing, maintenance, fault finding and repairs on domestic heating systems. You will work independently across a range of properties, managing both planned and reactive work while providing a professional service to customers.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in domestic gas servicing, maintenance and breakdowns.
• Current ACS and relevant domestic gas qualifications.
• CCN1, CENWAT, CKR1, CPA1, HTR1, MET1, HWSS1 and CMDDA1.
• Water Regulations (WREG) qualification.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Able to work independently and manage your own workload.

Responsibilities

• Service, maintain and repair domestic heating systems.
• Diagnose faults and carry out effective first-time fixes.
• Complete safety checks, certification and accurate documentation.
• Provide excellent customer service during every visit.
• Participate in an on-call rota for emergency repairs.
• Manage vehicle stock, materials and equipment.
• Work safely and in line with Gas Safe and company procedures.
