Job summary

Center Parcs group at Longleat Forest is seeking a Gas Safe Engineer to manage heating systems across guest accommodation and village buildings. You will attend callouts, perform inspections and preventative maintenance, and deliver excellent customer service.

The role is full-time with shifts 8:00am–10:00pm, including evenings and alternate weekends. A current Gas Safe qualification, NVQ/SVQ Level 2-3 in Plumbing/Heating/Ventilation, and a full driving licence are required.

• Excellent customer service skills
• Full driving licence held for minimum 6 months

Gas Safe Engineer

Longleat

Forest | Circa £42,200per annum

Keep family breaks running smoothly

You will be responsible for attending callouts and maintaining heating systems across guest accommodation and village buildings.You'll ensure timely repairs, preventative maintenance and deliver excellent customer service.

• Report defects and assist with general technical tasks
• Attend callouts and resolve gas and heating issues promptly

Your working hours

• Full-time contract, shifts fall between 8:00am and 10:00pm
• You will be contracted to work a guaranteed minimum of 160 hours over a 4‑week period. You may be asked to work additional hours in line with operational requirements
• This role includes evenings and alternate weekends
• You will be 'on call' during late shifts to handle any out-of-hours issues

About you

• NVQ or SVQ in Engineering Maintenance and Installation in Plumbing, Heating and Ventilation Level 2 & 3 and a current gas safe qualification
• Previous trade experience (electrical or mechanical)
• Excellent customer service skills
• Full driving licence (held for a minimum of 6 months)
