Job summary

Center Parcs UK & Ireland is seeking a Maintenance Technician for Longleat Forest. You will attend callouts and carry out planned maintenance on heating and gas systems across guest accommodation and village buildings, delivering excellent service to ensure our breaks run smoothly.

You should have NVQ/SVQ in Engineering Maintenance (Plumbing, Heating and Ventilation) Levels 2/3 with Gas Safe, plus relevant trade experience and a full driving licence.

• Full driving licence held for a minimum of 6 months
• Previous trade experience (electrical or mechanical)

Job description

Forest | Circa £42,200 per annum

Keep family breaks running smoothly

You will be responsible for attending callouts and maintaining heating systems across guest accommodation and village buildings. You'll ensure timely repairs, preventative maintenance and deliver excellent customer service.

• Carry out inspections and planned preventative maintenance
• Report defects and assist with general technical tasks
• Attend callouts and resolve gas and heating issues promptly

Your working hours

• Full‑time contract, shifts fall between 8:00am and 10:00pm
• You will be contracted to work a guaranteed minimum of 160 hours over a 4‑week period. You may be asked to work additional hours in line with operational requirements
• This role includes evenings and alternate weekends
• You will be 'on call' during late shifts to handle any out‑of‑hours issues

About You

• NVQ or SVQ in Engineering Maintenance and Installation in Plumbing, Heating and Ventilation Level 2 & 3 and a current gas safe qualification
• Previous trade experience (electrical or mechanical)
• Excellent customer service skills
• Full driving licence (held for a minimum of 6 months)
