Job summary

Sureserve Compliance North West is seeking a Gas Installation Video Surveyor to join our field team. You will visit customers’ homes to perform pre-installation surveys using video tech and traditional methods, assessing heating systems and defining installation requirements for safe, efficient work.

You will act as the technical link between survey and installation, ensuring accurate specifications and minimizing delays across multiple sites.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2/3 in Plumbing & Heating or equivalent.
• Current ACS qualifications CCN1, CENWAT, CKR1 and HTR1.
• Full UK Driving Licence is required.
• Experience in domestic gas installation environments.

Responsibilities

• Visit customers' homes to carry out detailed pre-installation surveys using video technology and traditional surveying methods.
• Assess existing heating systems and identify installation requirements.
• Produce clear, accurate specifications for installation teams.
• Act as the technical link between survey and installation to minimise delays, variations and repeat visits.

Job description

We're looking for a Gas Installation Video Surveyor to join our growing team, supporting domestic heating installation projects across our social housing and residential contracts. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a strong technical background who enjoys being out in the field, meeting customers, and playing a key role in delivering successful installations. As a Gas Installation Video Surveyor, you'll visit customers' homes to carry out detailed pre-installation surveys using video technology and traditional surveying methods. You'll assess existing heating systems, identify installation requirements, and produce clear, accurate specifications that enable our installation teams to complete work safely, efficiently, and to the highest standard. Working closely with customers, engineers, and operational teams, you'll act as the technical link between survey and installation, ensuring all project requirements are captured from the outset and helping to minimise delays, variations, and repeat visits.

• NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 in Plumbing & Heating, Heating & Ventilation, or equivalent
• Current ACS qualifications including CCN1, CENWAT, CKR1 and HTR1
• Full UK Driving Licence
• Previous experience within domestic gas installation environments

In addition, you'll have excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work independently while managing a varied workload across multiple sites.
