Job summary

Sureserve Compliance North West is seeking an experienced gas engineer to service and maintain domestic heating systems, ensuring safety and efficiency in customers' homes. You will diagnose faults, carry out repairs, and complete planned maintenance while delivering high-quality workmanship and strong customer service on every visit.

You must hold CCN1, CENWAT, HTR1, and CKR1, have a valid UK driving licence, and bring practical domestic gas experience.

Qualifications

• CCN1, CENWAT, HTR1, CKR1 are essential.
• Valid UK driving licence is essential.
• Previous practical experience in gas maintenance in a domestic setting.
• Solid understanding of gas safety regulations and industry standards.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
• Professional and friendly attitude with the ability to build relationships with clients and tenants.

Job description

Responsible for ensuring heating and hot water systems are operating safely, efficiently and reliably, helping customers stay comfortable in their homes. You'll diagnose faults, complete repairs, carry out planned maintenance, and provide a high standard of workmanship while delivering excellent customer service at every visit. What you'll be doing

• Carry out service and maintenance works on a variety of domestic properties across the region
• Ensuring high levels of customer care in dealing with clients and tenants to meet the required quality standards
• Communicate updates and progress of work, completing the required paperwork electronically and manually
  Valid domestic and/or commercial gas qualifications. As a minimum, successful candidates must have the following: CCN1, CENWAT, HTR1, CKR1 (essential)
• Valid UK driving licence (essential)
• Previous practical experience in gas maintenance within a domestic capacity
• Solid understanding of gas safety regulations and industry standards
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently
• A professional and friendly attitude with the ability to forge strong relationships with both clients and tenants
