Job summary

Sanctuary Group is hiring a Gas Installation Engineer in Banbury. The role involves installing, servicing and fault-finding gas central heating systems as part of the Midlands/Cherwell Gas Team, typically 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 08:00–16:30.

You will work with an apprentice and may cover service/breakdown duties. CCN1, CENWAT, CKR1, CPA1, HTR1, Unvented - G3, WRAS certificates are required, and a full UK driving licence is essential.

Qualifications

• CCN1, CENWAT, CKR1, CPA1, HTR1, Unvented - G3, WRAS certificates required.
• Bring original certifications to interview; copies not accepted.
• Gas heating systems installation, servicing, and maintenance knowledge.
• Experience with PDA and computerised work scheduling.
• Recent experience in a similar role.
• Full UK driving licence required.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out fault fixing, maintenance, installation duties and commissioning of gas central heating systems, in accordance with contract and service specifications.
• Providing accurate and timely information on progress and advice that is easily understood by the customer and ensure accurate daily work records are completed.
• Responding positively to complaints and breakdowns in service delivery to meet customer expectations in accordance with contract and service specifications.
• Resolving problems or set into motion the means of resolution, ensuring customers are kept informed, in line with agreed processes and within contract and service specifications.
• Ensuring tools and equipment are maintained in good condition and stocks are replenished as needed, in accordance with the agreed requisition procedures and budgets.
