Job summary

Sanctuary Group in Banbury is hiring a Gas Engineer for the Midlands/Cherwell Gas Team. You will install, service and commission gas heating systems, including boilers, Y&S plans, Combi swaps and Unvented cylinders, working with an apprentice and potentially handling service or breakdown duties.

The role requires CCN1, CENWAT, CKR1, CPA1, HTR1, Unvented G3 certificates and WRAS, or current progression toward them, plus a full UK driving licence.

Qualifications

Must hold CCN1, CENWAT, CKR1, CPA1, HTR1, Unvented G3 and WRAS or be currently undertaking qualification.
Bring original certification, copies not accepted, as part of the interview.
Proven experience in diagnosing problems and delivering solutions.
Full UK driving licence required for company vehicle use.

Responsibilities

Carry out fault fixing, maintenance, installation and commissioning of gas central heating systems.
Provide clear progress updates and maintain accurate daily records.
Respond to complaints and breakdowns to meet customer expectations.
Ensure tools and equipment are maintained and budgets followed.
Drive on company business as required.
