Job summary
Sanctuary Maintenance Contractors Limited in Banbury is seeking a Gas Engineer to join our Midlands/Cherwell Gas Team. You will carry out gas installation work on boilers and systems, including Y&S plans, Combi swaps, conversions and unvented cylinder installations, alongside an apprentice.
The role involves fault fixing, maintenance, service and breakdown duties as workload allows, with a focus on safety, documentation, and customer communication.
Qualifications
- Qualified to CCN1, CENWAT, CKR1, CPA1, HTR1, Unvented G3, and Water Regulations (WRAS) or in progress.
- Proven problem analysis and fault-fixing ability.
- Experience with gas heating systems installation, servicing, maintenance.
- Ability to use computerised systems (including PDA) for scheduling.
- Full UK driving licence is required.
Responsibilities
- Carry out fault fixing, maintenance, installation and commissioning of gas central heating systems.
- Provide accurate progress updates and daily records.
- Respond to complaints and breakdowns to meet customer expectations.
- Resolve problems or initiate resolution, keep customers informed per processes.
- Ensure tools and equipment are maintained and stock replenished.
