Job summary

Axis CLC Group is seeking a skilled Gas Engineer to deliver high-quality servicing, breakdowns and repairs across our housing maintenance programmes. The role offers variety, autonomy and the chance to contribute to safe, well-maintained homes across the UK.

You will respond to emergencies, perform gas safety checks, support void works, and complete PDA documentation. A clean UK driving licence and relevant qualifications are essential.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Domestic Gas Engineer in repairs, maintenance or voids.
• Qualifications CCN1, CENWAT, HTR1, CKR1 (G3 and LPG/Oil/ASHP desirable).
• Strong customer service and communication skills for occupied homes.
• Full UK driving licence (no major issues).

Responsibilities

• Respond to emergency and reactive gas repair works, diagnosing faults.
• Maintain a high first-time fix rate and safety standards.
• Complete gas safety checks and compliance inspections.
• Support void property works to ensure safe re-let.
• Carry out remedial works and system upgrades as needed.
• Accurately complete PDA/job documentation.
