Axis CLC Group is seeking a skilled Gas Engineer to deliver high-quality servicing, breakdowns and repairs across our housing maintenance programmes. The role offers variety, autonomy and the chance to contribute to safe, well-maintained homes across the UK.

We're looking for a skilled and customer-focused Gas Engineer to deliver high-quality servicing, breakdowns, and repairs across our housing maintenance programmes. This role offers variety, autonomy, and the opportunity to be part of a team delivering essential housing services that make a real difference to residents and communities.
Respond to emergency and reactive gas repair works, diagnosing and resolving faults efficiently.
Maintain a high first-time fix rate, ensuring quality and safety standards are consistently met.
Complete gas safety checks and compliance inspections in line with current regulations.
Support void property works, ensuring all gas systems are safe, compliant, and ready for re-let.
Carry out remedial works and system upgrades where required to maintain service standards.
Accurately complete PDA/job documentation, ensuring all works are recorded correctly and in a timely manner.
Proven experience as a Domestic Gas Engineer within repairs, maintenance, or voids environments.
Relevant qualifications including CCN1, CENWAT, HTR1, CKR1 (G3 and LPG/Oil/ASHP desirable).
Strong customer service and communication skills, able to work sensitively in occupied homes.
Ability to work independently, prioritise workloads, and manage time effectively.
Confident using handheld devices (PDA) for job management and reporting.
Full, clean UK driving licence (we will accept minor motoring convictions).
£42,000 basic salary (up to £45,000 with additional qualifications) + benefits including:

£40 OOH call-out rate + £10 first fix bonus
Overtime paid at 1.5x hourly rate
