Job summary

Axis CLC Group is seeking a skilled Gas Engineer to deliver high-quality servicing, breakdowns, and repairs across housing maintenance programmes. The role offers variety, autonomy and the chance to contribute to residents and communities.

The ideal candidate has domestic gas engineering experience, relevant qualifications (CCN1, CENWAT, HTR1, CKR1 desirable), strong customer service and the ability to work independently with a clean UK driving licence. Competitive salary and benefits on offer.

Qualifications

Domestic gas engineer experience in repairs, maintenance or voids.
CCN1, CENWAT, HTR1, CKR1 (G3/LPG/Oil/ASHP desirable) qualifications.
Strong customer service and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Full, clean UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

Respond to emergency and reactive gas repair works, diagnosing and resolving faults.
Maintain a high first-time fix rate while meeting safety standards.
Complete gas safety checks and compliance inspections.
Support void property works to ensure gas systems are safe and ready for re-let.
Carry out remedial works and system upgrades as required.
Accurately complete PDA/job documentation for timely records.
