Build Recruitment Limited is seeking a Gas Heating Engineer in Coalville to service and maintain domestic gas systems and respond to faults. You will diagnose faults, perform repairs and planned maintenance to ensure safe, efficient operation for customers in their homes.

The role requires CCN1, CENWAT, HTR1 and CKR1 qualifications, a full UK driving licence, and proven domestic gas maintenance experience. On-call and overtime opportunities accompany a base salary with strong earning potential.

Gas Heating Engineer

Salary:Up to £44000 per annum basic, plenty of overtime & optional call out, OTE - 50-60K

Location: Coalville, covering surroundingpostcode areas

Contract Type: Permanent

Working Hours: 40 hours per week

Working Pattern: Monday to Friday, with on-call requirements

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Gas Heating Engineer to ensure heating and hot water systems operate safely, efficiently and reliably, helping customers stay comfortable in their homes.

You will diagnose faults, complete repairs and carry out planned maintenance, delivering high standards of workmanship and excellent customer service at every visit.

What We’re Looking For

• Valid domestic and/or commercial gas qualifications. As a minimum, candidates must hold CCN1, CENWAT, HTR1 and CKR1 (essential).
• Full, valid UK driving licence (essential).
• Previous practical experience in domestic gas maintenance.
• Strong understanding of gas safety regulations and industry standards.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
• Professional and friendly attitude, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and tenants.
