Job summary

Build Recruitment Limited seeks a skilled Gas Heating Engineer to service and maintain domestic heating systems in Coalville and surrounding areas. You will diagnose faults, perform repairs and carry out planned maintenance to ensure safety and reliability for customers in their homes.

You will hold essential gas qualifications, a full UK driving licence and demonstrate strong problem-solving abilities with a professional, customer-focused approach.

Qualifications

• Valid domestic and/or commercial gas qualifications (CCN1, CENWAT, HTR1, CKR1) are essential.
• Full, valid UK driving licence (essential).
• Experience in domestic gas maintenance and good knowledge of gas safety regulations.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
• Professional and friendly attitude with strong client/tenant relationships.

Responsibilities

• Carry out servicing and maintenance across domestic properties regionally.
• Ensure high levels of customer care and quality standards.
• Communicate updates and progress effectively.
• Complete all required paperwork, electronically and on paper.

Gas Heating Engineer

Salary:Up to £44000 per annum basic, plenty of overtime & optional call out, OTE – 50-60K

Location: Coalville, covering surroundingpostcode areas

Contract Type: Permanent

Working Hours: 40 hours per week

Working Pattern: Monday to Friday, with on-call requirements

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Gas Heating Engineer to ensure heating and hot water systems operate safely, efficiently and reliably, helping customers stay comfortable in their homes.

You will diagnose faults, complete repairs and carry out planned maintenance, delivering high standards of workmanship and excellent customer service at every visit.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Carry out servicing and maintenance works across a variety of domestic properties throughout the region.

• Ensure high levels of customer care when dealing with clients and tenants, meeting the required quality standards.

• Communicate updates and work progress effectively.

• Complete all required paperwork, both electronically and manually.

What We’re Looking For

• Valid domestic and/or commercial gas qualifications. As a minimum, candidates must hold CCN1, CENWAT, HTR1 and CKR1 (essential).

• Full, valid UK driving licence (essential).

• Previous practical experience in domestic gas maintenance.

• Strong understanding of gas safety regulations and industry standards.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.

• Professional and friendly attitude, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and tenants.
