Example Recruitment Group is recruiting on behalf of a well-established heating contractor for experienced self-employed Gas Service & Repair Engineers in the Reigate area. Long-term work with 3–5 days per week commitment and weekly payments.

Locations: Reigate. Day-to-day duties include annual gas safety checks, LGSRs, and central heating repairs, with 6–8 appointments per day and optional evening/weekend work at enhanced rates.

Formación

• 2+ years post-qualification experience as a domestic heating engineer.
• Current ACS qualifications CKR1 and HTR1.
• Current Gas Safe Registration.
• A calibrated flue gas analyser.
• A suitable panel van (plain or sign-written).
• £2 million Public Liability Insurance.
• No unspent criminal convictions.

Responsabilidades

• Perform Annual Gas Safety Checks and LGSRs.
• Carry out central heating repairs.
• Manage 6–8 pre-booked appointments per day.
• Commit to 3–5 days per week with weekly payments.
• Option to undertake evening call-outs and weekend work at enhanced rates.

Example Recruitment Group is currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established heating contractor operating within the private sector.

We are looking for experienced self-employed Gas Service & Repair Engineers to join an established contract covering the Reigate area. This is a long-term opportunity offering a consistent workload, weekly payments and the flexibility to choose your working pattern.

The Contract

• Locations: Reigate
• Work: Annual Gas Safety Checks, Landlord Gas Safety Records (LGSRs) and central heating repairs
• Workload: 6–8 pre-booked appointments per day
• Availability: Minimum commitment of 3 days per week, with up to 5 days available
• Additional earning opportunities: Optional evening call-outs and weekend work at enhanced rates
• Contract length: Ongoing with no fixed end date
• Payment: Weekly, one week in arrears

Rates

• Annual Gas Safety Check: £30.75 per appliance
• Completed Repair: £61.50 per property (all parts and van stock supplied)
• Repair completed during Annual Service: £46.13 plus the Annual Service Visit rate
