Job summary

Coventry City Council is seeking a qualified building services professional to join the R&M team. You will deliver site-based, practical solutions for maintenance, repairs and minor works under the Facilities Manager, ensuring timely completion and budget adherence.

The role requires ensuring compliance with industry standards, ongoing training opportunities, and the ability to work across schools, residential and commercial premises.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills and ability to understand written instructions.
• Full UK driving license and recognised qualifications are essential.
• Experience with reactive repair gas/combustion environments is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned maintenance and reactive repairs to a high standard within target timescales.
• Install new heating installations/improvements as required.
• Ensure all work complies with industry standards and relevant Codes of Practice.
• Work across diverse sites including schools, residential and commercial properties.
