Job summary

Belmont Recruitment is seeking a Commercial Gas Engineer to join Coventry City Council on a 1 month temporary contract. The role is full-time, 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday, based in Coventry.

Essential requirements include Enhanced DBS, Commercial Gas Qualification, 18th Edition, and a Full UK driving licence. The successful candidate will perform installation and maintenance for heating, HVAC, and heat pump systems, and communicate closely with customers to ensure satisfaction.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Perform installation and maintenance tasks for heating, ventilation, HVAC, any other commercial appliances and heat pump systems.
• Install and modify associated pipework and fittings.
• Carry out planned preventative maintenance on heating and combustion systems to meet statutory requirements.
• Communicate effectively with customers and liaise with clients to ensure satisfaction and align work with their specifications.
