Job summary

Belmont Recruitment is seeking a Commercial Gas Engineer to join Coventry City Council on a 1 month temporary contract. The role is full-time, 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday, based in Coventry.

Responsibilities

• Install and modify associated pipework and fittings.
• Carry out planned preventative maintenance on heating and combustion systems to meet statutory requirements.
• Communicate effectively with customers and liaise with clients to ensure satisfaction and align work with their specifications.

Job description

Belmont Recruitment are currently looking for a Commercial Gas Engineer to join Coventry City Council on an initial 1 month temporary contract. This is a full-time role working 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday.

Key Responsibilities

• Performing installation and maintenance tasks for heating, ventilation, HVAC, any Other commercial appliances and heat pump systems. Installing and modifying associated pipework alongside related components and fittings.


• Performing heating and combustion planned preventative maintenance tasks within specified timeframes to guarantee adherence to statutory requirements.


• Ensuring proper maintenance and safe operation and storage of equipment, plant, vehicles, or tools provided for completing assigned tasks effectively and responsibly.


• Ensuring effective communication with custorners to establish expectations and confirm work aligns with their specifications and requirements. Liaising with clients to guarantee satisfaction.
