Job summary

Belmont Recruitment are currently looking for a Gas Engineer to join Sanctuary Housing Association on a temporary to permanent contract. This is a full-time role working 40-45 hours per week.

Key responsibilities include installation, fault fixing, maintenance of gas central heating systems, maintaining records, responding to breakdowns and ensuring stock and tools are kept in good condition.

Qualifications

• Experience working as a Gas Engineer.
• Current Gas Safe registration.
• ACS (previously ACOPS) Natural Gas Domestic qualification.

Responsibilities

• Carry out installation, fault fixing, maintenance duties and commissioning of gas central heating systems in accordance with contract and service specifications.
• Provide accurate and timely information on progress and advice easily understood by the customer; complete accurate daily work records.
• Respond to complaints and breakdowns in service delivery to meet customer expectations as per contract specifications.
• Resolve problems or initiate resolution, keeping customers informed per agreed processes.
• Ensure tools and equipment are maintained and stocks replenished per requisition procedures and budgets.

• Resolve problems or set into motion the means of resolution, ensuring customers are kept informed, in line with agreed processes and within contract and service specifications.
• Ensure tools and equipment are maintained in good condition and stocks are replenished as needed, in accordance with the agreed requisition procedures and budgets.
