Job summary

ECO Approach Ltd on the Preston area is seeking a qualified Gas Engineer to join our Retrofit Division. The role covers service, maintenance, and repair of gas systems and appliances for residential clients, with a focus on boilers, heaters, and cookers.

You will perform safety checks, diagnose faults, advise customers, and keep clear records in line with health and safety standards. Candidates should have at least 2 years’ experience and CCN1, CENWAT, HTR1, CKR1 qualifications.

Qualifications

• Gas system knowledge required.
• Experience with boilers, heaters, and cookers preferred.
• Familiarity with safety standards and inspections.

Responsibilities

• Service, maintain, and repair gas systems and appliances, including boilers, heaters, and cookers

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

We are currently seeking a qualified Gas Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing gas systems and appliances for our clients

Responsibilities:

• Service, maintain, and repair gas systems and appliances, including boilers, heaters, and cookers
• Conduct safety checks and inspections to ensure systems are working efficiently and meet safety standards
• Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues, identifying and resolving faults and defects
• Provide advice and guidance to clients on the use and maintenance of gas systems and appliances
• Keep accurate and up-to-date records of all work carried out
• Adhere to health and safety regulations and procedures at all times
• Maintain good communication with clients and team members

Requirements:

• At least 2 years’ experience in a similar role
• Knowledge of gas systems and appliances, including boilers, heaters, and cookers
• Qualifications: CCN1, CENWAT, HTR1, CKR1 required
