Job summary

Bridgeman Recruitment Services Ltd is currently recruiting experienced Gas Engineers to join a long-term social housing refurbishment and maintenance programme in Manchester. This is an excellent opportunity for qualified Gas Engineers seeking consistent, long-term work on a major housing project.

Duties include domestic gas servicing, boiler installation and repairs, fault finding, working in occupied homes, and liaising with tenants.

Qualifications

• Gas Safe registration is mandatory.
• Domestic gas qualifications required.
• CCN1 and ACS qualifications are desirable or needed.
• Excellent communication and customer-service skills are essential.
• Own tools and PPE must be available for on-site work.

Responsibilities

• Domestic gas servicing and maintenance in social housing.
• Boiler installation, servicing and repairs.
• Gas appliance installation and replacement.
• Fault finding and remedial works.
• Work within occupied residential properties and coordinate with tenants.

We are currently recruiting for experienced Gas Engineers to join a long-term 5-year social housing refurbishment and maintenance programme in Manchester.

This is an excellent opportunity for qualified Gas Engineers looking for consistent, long-term work on a major housing programme.

Duties will include:

• Domestic gas servicing and maintenance
• Boiler installation, servicing and repairs
• Gas appliance installation and replacement
• Fault finding and remedial works
• Central heating and hot water systems
• Working within occupied residential properties
• Completing relevant certification and paperwork
• Liaising professionally with tenants
• Working alongside other trades and site teams

Requirements:

• Valid Gas Safe registration
• Relevant domestic gas qualifications
• Current CCN1 and appropriate appliances/ACS qualifications
• Previous experience within social housing or refurbishment is desirable
• Own tools and PPE
• Full UK driving licence
• Excellent communication and customer-service skills
• Reliable and professional approach

Long-term work available, with the programme expected to run for approximately 5 years
