Job summary

Nuco Solutions Ltd is seeking a Domestic Gas Service & Repairs Engineer to service and repair boilers and domestic heating systems across social housing properties. You will perform servicing, fault finding, and repairs with emphasis on safety and quality, supported by a dedicated team and management.

Qualifications

• Gas Safe qualifications required.
• Ability to diagnostic and repair heating systems.

• Able to work independently within a busy schedule.

Responsibilities

• Carry out annual boiler servicing and landlord gas safety inspections across domestic social housing properties.
• Diagnose heating and hot water faults and carry out effective repairs.
• Repair boilers, heating controls, pumps, radiators, and associated components.
• Attend planned maintenance and reactive breakdowns with a focus on first-time fixes.
• Ensure gas appliances and systems are safe and compliant with Gas Safe regulations.
• Record work, parts used, and follow-up actions accurately in company systems.
• Identify additional works or safety concerns and report them.
• Provide excellent customer service while working in occupied homes.
• Manage daily workload to meet productivity and service targets.
• Maintain high health & safety, compliance and workmanship standards.

Role Responsibilities

• Carry out annual boiler servicing and landlord gas safety inspections across domestic social housing properties
• Diagnose heating and hot water faults, identifying issues quickly and carrying out effective repairs
• Complete repairs to boilers, heating controls, pumps, motorised valves, radiators, thermostats, and associated heating system components
• Attend both planned maintenance appointments and reactive breakdowns, ensuring a first-time fix wherever possible
• Ensure all gas appliances and heating systems are safe, compliant, and operating efficiently in accordance with Gas Safe regulations
• Accurately record work completed, parts used, and follow-up actions using company systems
• Identify and report additional works or safety concerns where required
• Deliver excellent customer service while working professionally within occupied homes
• Manage your daily workload effectively while meeting productivity and service-level targets
• Maintain high standards of health & safety, compliance, and workmanship at all times

Ideal Candidate

• Valid ACS gas qualifications
• Full UK Driving Licence (maximum 6 penalty points)
• Proven experience carrying out domestic gas servicing, fault finding, and repairs
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills across domestic heating systems
• Experience working within social housing or domestic residential environments is desirable
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Able to work independently and manage a busy daily schedule
• Committed to delivering safe, compliant, and high-quality workmanship
