Job summary

Sureserve in Liverpool is seeking a Gas Maintenance Technician to service and repair domestic heating and hot water systems, diagnose faults, and uphold high workmanship and customer service during every visit.

You will be responsible for delivering safe and compliant work across the region, with on-call duties and strong tenant relationships as a core part of the role.

Qualifications

• CCN1, CENWAT, HTR1 and CKR1 gas qualifications (essential)
• Valid UK driving licence (essential)
• Experience in domestic gas maintenance
• Solid knowledge of gas safety regulations and standards
• Able to work independently with strong problem-solving
• Professional, friendly attitude building relationships with clients and tenants

Salary: £35,875 - £45,000 (with £45,000 being the average of OTE inc. callout)

Location: Liverpool covering L9, L10, L11, L35 areas

Contract Type: Permanent

Working Hours: 40

Working pattern: Monday to Friday with on-call requirements

Holiday entitlement: 20 + Bank Holidays (increases with service)

About the role

Responsible for ensuring heating and hot water systems are operating safely, efficiently and reliably, helping customers stay comfortable in their homes. You'll diagnose faults, complete repairs, carry out planned maintenance, and provide a high standard of workmanship while delivering excellent customer service at every visit.

What we’re looking for

• Valid domestic and/or commercial gas qualifications. As a minimum, successful candidates must have the following: CCN1, CENWAT, HTR1, CKR1 (essential)
• Valid UK driving licence (essential)
• Previous practical experience in gas maintenance within a domestic capacity
• Solid understanding of gas safety regulations and industry standards
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently
• A professional and friendly attitude with the ability to forge strong relationships with both clients and tenants
