Job summary

Home Group Limited is seeking an experienced Gas Engineer to carry out high-quality, right-first-time maintenance across responsive and void properties in the North East. You will service, repair and install domestic gas appliances, ensuring safety and compliance while delivering excellent customer service.

You will work with a brilliant team in a role that supports flexible working and strong wellbeing initiatives, with a van for business use and an on-call allowance.

Qualifications

• Qualified with City & Guilds NVQ Level 3 in plumbing and heating.
• ACS accreditation CCN1, HTR1, CKR1, CPA1 and CENWAT.
• Experience in domestic gas servicing and repairs.
• Fault-finding expertise and multi-skilled abilities.

Job description

• City and Guilds NVQ Level 3 in plumbing and heating or equivalent
• ACS accredited in CCN1, HTR1, CKR1, CPA1 and CENWAT.
• Experience in gas and heating works in domestic housing.
• Fault finding experience and an excellent knowledge to ensure gas servicing and repairs are diagnosed and repaired effectively.
• Experience in other building trade areas (multi skilled).
  £39,715 per annum plus van, generous on call allowance and great benefits including Health Cash Plan

What you'll do?

As multi skilled Gas Engineer, all allocated jobs are completed right first time, with a whole job repair approach, providing a brilliant service for our customers.

• Servicing, repairs and installation of domestic gas appliances.
• Delivering high-quality, safe and compliant work.
• Multi skilling to improve first time fixes and prevent multiple visits to customers' homes.
• Working in our properties across the North East. All jobs are scheduled so you know exactly where you need to be.

• We work between the hours of 08:30 am to 4:30 pm with an on-call allowance
• You'll cover a patch in the North East, working across key locations
• You get a van for business use and commuting, plus a fuel card
• You need a Basic DBS check that we pay for
