Job Title: Gas Compliance Manager

Location: Hybrid working, 2 days in Newcastle City Centre office, rest from home

Type: Permanent, full-time (37.5 hours/week), Monday to Friday

Salary: Circa £50,000 per annum (negotiable based on skills and experience) plus benefits including health cash plan

This role offers a unique opportunity to establish and develop the position, set standards, and lead a talented team. You will oversee gas compliance, manage audits, guide improvements, and ensure safety standards are met across our housing portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

1. Maintain Gas Safe registration, ensure all engineers are certified, and respond promptly to inspection feedback.
2. Lead initiatives to ensure safe and compliant gas works, including sales and rental properties.
3. Conduct audits and technical reviews with contractors and DLO teams to ensure adherence to standards.
4. Collaborate with other managers and regions to ensure consistency and efficiency.
5. Provide strong leadership to foster a positive team culture and support team development.
6. Oversee strategic programs to ensure ongoing safety and compliance of gas installations.

• Proven experience in gas safety and compliance, preferably in social housing
