This company is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Risk & Compliance Manager to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a legal background and experience as a nominated officer with HMRC. This is a part-time or full-time remote position, with a preference for candidates local to Scotland.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the company's risk management and compliance policies and procedures
• Ensure the company is compliant with all relevant regulations and laws
• Monitor and report on compliance issues and risks
• Provide advice and guidance on compliance matters to senior management and staff
• Develop and deliver training on compliance and risk management to staff
• Conduct internal audits to identify potential areas of risk and non-compliance
• Manage relationships with external regulators and auditors

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Risk & Compliance Manager or similar role
• Legal background and experience as a nominated officer with HMRC
• Excellent knowledge of compliance regulations and laws
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
