Emerson is recruiting for a role focused on testing and configuring Gas Chromatograph analysers. You will work with newly built machines, configure to customer needs, and document performance using multiple testing methods.

Qualifications

• Experience in testing mechanical/electrical products in a manufacturing or technical environment.
• Ability to interpret drawings, diagrams, schematics and work instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship.
• Effective problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to maintain accurate records and documentation.
• Working knowledge of health and safety in manufacturing.
• Good computer skills, including Microsoft Office and test equipment.

Responsabilités

• Test Gas Chromatograph (GC) analysers by configuring newly built machines to customer requirements.
• Analyse analyser performance using various techniques and document test results accurately.
• Perform functional, performance, environmental, and long-term testing.
• Fault-find on electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic systems within the analyser.
• Assemble components per work instructions and quality standards.
• Configure and build customer-specific gas analysers and related systems.
• Install sub-assemblies, electrical components, tubing, and piping within analyser systems.
• Follow ESD and health and safety procedures for a safe working environment.
• Create and maintain manufacturing and testing documentation.
• Prepare finished analysers for shipment to customers.
• Support continuous improvement to enhance quality, efficiency and customer satisfaction.
• Adhere to trade compliance procedures and escalate concerns accordingly.
• Contribute to a collaborative team environment and support business priorities.
