Job summary

Emerson is recruiting for a role focused on testing and configuring Gas Chromatograph analysers. You will work with newly built machines, configure to customer needs, and document performance using multiple testing methods.

  • Install sub-assemblies, electrical components, tubing, and piping within analyser systems.
  • Follow ESD and health and safety procedures for a safe working environment.
  • Create and maintain manufacturing and testing documentation.
  • Prepare finished analysers for shipment to customers.
  • Support continuous improvement to enhance quality, efficiency and customer satisfaction.
  • Adhere to trade compliance procedures and escalate concerns accordingly.
  • Contribute to a collaborative team environment and support business priorities.

For This Role, You Will Need:
  • Experience with mechanical, electrical, or scientific products in a manufacturing or technical environment.
  • The ability to interpret engineering drawings, diagrams, schematics, and work instructions.

Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:
  • Experience working with analytical instrumentation, gas analysis equipment, or related technologies.
  • Experience with Gas Chromatography (GC), including both process and laboratory GC systems.
  • Experience performing product testing, calibration, or performance verification activities.
  • A degree, HNC, HND, apprenticeship, technical certification, or equivalent practical experience in a scientific, engineering, manufacturing, or technical discipline.
  • Familiarity with electromechanical assembly processes.
  • Experience working in a regulated manufacturing environment.
  • Knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies and quality systems.
  • Understanding of trade compliance requirements within a manufacturing setting.
