Job summary

AG Instruments Ltd in Royal Leamington Spa is seeking a Calibration & Applications Engineer to calibrate, test and provide technical support for gas analysers. The role involves hands-on calibration, assembly, quality control, and cross-functional collaboration across engineering, manufacturing and customer support.

The position offers training on AG Instruments' calibration processes and equipment, with opportunities to contribute to R&D and product development in a highly technical environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in gas analysis or instrumentation is advantageous.
• Degree, HND or equivalent in engineering/science/technical discipline preferred.
• Chartered Engineer status in progress would be beneficial but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Calibrate gas analysers from setup to final verification, including gas concentration, pressure, temperature, and linearisation.
• Assemble, test and inspect analysers using drawings and procedures; support product development and component sourcing.
• Maintain ISO 9000 compliant quality records; support audits and continuous improvement.
• Provide customer support and training, respond to technical queries, and assist with supplier and component evaluation.
