Full Time, Permanent

Chef Works Europe Ltd is looking for an organised and proactive Embellishment Executive to coordinate garment decoration projects across its broad customer base.

Covering embroidery, screen printing, heat transfers and tax-tabbing, you'll manage projects from initial design and customer approval through to production, acting as a key link between customers, the sales team, suppliers and the embellishment team.

This is a varied and specialist role for someone with previous experience in the apparel, textile, garment decoration or garment printing industry who understands both the creative and production elements of garment embellishment.

The Role

Reporting day-to-day to the Customer Experience Manager, you'll manage multiple orders and projects at different stages of the embellishment process.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Coordinating artwork development, mock-ups, samples and customer approvals
  • Managing embellishment projects from initial design through to production
  • Liaising with customers to clarify specifications, quality requirements and timescales
  • Coordinating embroidery, screen printing and digital/heat transfer requirements
  • Monitoring embellishment quality and helping to resolve technical or production issues
  • Tracking garments and supporting materials to ensure timely delivery to and from the embellishment centre
  • Forecasting capacity and maintaining accurate production schedules and logs
  • Processing customer orders and responding to enquiries, predominantly via email
  • Preparing garment mock-ups for customer approvals and presentations
  • Coordinating deliveries and collections, including relevant customs documentation for deliveries outside the UK
  • Maintaining accurate information within our Order Management System
  • Handling embellishment pricing enquiries and liaising with relevant departments
  • Supporting projects for trade shows, competitions and presentations
  • Handling occasional customer queries or complaints professionally, working towards an appropriate resolution
  • Communicating effectively with customers, suppliers and internal teams

As part of a small UK-based team, you'll also need to be happy supporting the wider business when required and bring a positive, proactive and flexible approach to your work.

About You

We're looking for someone with relevant industry experience who understands garment decoration processes and is comfortable coordinating projects from design through to production.

You will need:
  • At least 2 years' experience within the apparel, textile, garment decoration or garment printing industry
  • Knowledge of garment decoration techniques, including embroidery, screen printing and digital/heat transfers
  • Experience using Wilcom embroidery and apparel decoration software
  • Strong organisation and attention to detail
  • Good problem-solving customer service skills and an understanding of quality control
  • The ability to manage multiple orders, priorities and deadlines
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Confidence liaising with customers, suppliers and colleagues across different departments
  • Good Microsoft Office skills, particularly Outlook
  • Experience using an Order Management System (OMS) or similar business system
  • Additional language skills would be welcomed but are not essential.
  • Experience across both the design/development and planning/production stages of embellishment
Salary & Benefits
  • Circa £25,000 to £28,000 salary, depending on experience
  • Up to 10% bonus
  • £300 annual Wellbeing Allowance
  • Matched employer contribution to People's Pension
  • 29 days' paid annual leave, including bank and public holidays
  • Free onsite parking
  • Contemporary office space in Farsley
  • Gyms and local amenities within walking distance
  • Friendly, dynamic and collaborative working environment

This is a full-time, office-based role with an initial 3-month probationary period.
