Job description

SPL Property Management, part of the Leaders Romans Group are looking for a new Gardener to join us on a permanent basis based in our high performing office in Poole.

What can you expect day to day as a Gardener?

Undertake various tasks such as gardening, cleaning, jet washing, carpet cleaning, fence staining, painting and decorating, window cleaning, gutter and soffit cleaning and a myriad of general repairs and maintenance tasks.

To be considered for this role, you will need the following experience and skills:

• We are looking for a multi skilled, conscientious and hardworking maintenance operative. Preferably with a PA6 and PA1 sprayer license, but not essential.
• Background in gardening, maintenance industry with good all round DIY and manual skills, and be ready for work immediately.
• General knowledge of health and safety at work procedures will be advantageous and applicants should include any relevant qualification, although training will be given.
• Due to the nature of the role, applicants must be physically fit and able to undertake manual work. Only applicants with the relevant previous experience will be considered.
• The applicant must have the right to work in the UK and a full UK driving license, ideally with permission to drive C1 vehicles. A vehicle will be provided following induction training.
• There will be a requirement to travel between Bournemouth, Southampton and Weymouth at certain times so an early start and late finish should sometimes be expected.
