Job summary

Citi FX Technology seeks a senior engineering leader to manage and inspire a high-caliber team. You will work with FX Technology to define and implement cross-asset solutions, balancing hands-on delivery with strategic leadership.

The role requires strong systems knowledge and the ability to partner with traders and quants, while upholding Citi policies and driving best practices across teams.

Qualifications

• Proven understanding of ultra low-latency development practices.
• Proven understanding of FX highly preferred.
• Ability to develop a team that is seen as the engineering role model for the organization.
• Ability to work directly with trading and quant teams.

Responsibilities

• Manage and inspire a high-quality team of engineers.
• Collaborate with FX Technology teams to define and implement solutions that benefit the business.
• Contribute to hands-on technical implementation and thought leadership.
• Lead across FX Technology to deliver solutions impacting multiple asset classes.
• Manage development teams, performance evaluations, hiring and disciplinary actions.
• Develop vision for team structure, roles, and responsible ownership for impact.
• Drive system architecture design and ensure documentation and policy adherence.
• Lead staff forums and communicate updates to the organization.
