Job summary

Citi's FX Technology team in London is seeking a senior engineering leader to manage and inspire a high-quality team of engineers. The role combines hands-on development with technical leadership across FX technology to deliver low-latency solutions that support trading and quant teams.

You will drive architecture, mentor staff, and collaborate with global teams to replace legacy systems and define best practices.

Qualifications

• Proven understanding of ultra low-latency development practices.
• Experience in FX is highly preferred.
• Ability to develop a team seen as engineering role model.
• Ability to work with trading and quant teams.

Responsibilities

• Manage and inspire a high-quality team of engineers.
• Work with FX Technology teams to define and implement solutions benefiting the business.
• Hands-on role including technical implementation and leadership.
• Lead and deliver staff forums and engage teams with progress updates.
• Define and implement best practices and processes for the department.
