Job summary

Citi Belfast is a major employer in Northern Ireland, offering a unique chance to work on the FX application supporting G10 FX and derivatives. The role requires on-site start-up and pressurized trading hours with 24x6.5 coverage across multiple global locations.

You will interact with New York, London, Singapore and more, ensuring robust support for critical systems. Hybrid working with up to 2 days at home per week, competitive base salary, and benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• Hands-on application support experience in a global market related business.
• Exposure to Cloud technologies and DevOps (CI/CD) tools and techniques and adopting AI.
• Strong analytical skills & attention to detail.
• Positive attitude and keen to learn.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide user support for the mission critical trading system used by trading desks and operations.
• Support FX trade life cycle flows including position matching, pricing, client connectivity, trade executions, settlements, back office and regulatory reporting flows.
• Start of day checks and continuous monitoring of the application and infrastructure; regional handover at end of day.
• Raise problems to technology and business teams while adhering to SLAs.
• Build and maintain technical support documentation.
• Liaise between users/traders and internal tech groups and vendors.
• Participate in application releases from development to production deployment.
• Perform post-release checkouts after releases and infrastructure updates.
• Own Support Project items covering Stability, Efficiency, and Effectiveness initiatives.
• Coordinate with Development to prioritize bug fixes and tooling needs.
