Job summary

Tokamak Energy Ltd. is seeking a practical, hands-on engineer to join our team, contributing to designing, installing and maintaining instrumentation and control systems that support our fusion research and HTS projects.

Ideal candidates will come from vacuum, semiconductor, scientific instrumentation, process plant, Formula One, aerospace or other high-tech engineering environments, with the ability to read wiring diagrams, troubleshoot faults and collaborate across disciplines.

Qualifications

• Electrical HND, degree, apprenticeship or equivalent qualification.
• Apaired with fusion/scientific instrumentation understanding.
• Experience in high-tech environments such as aerospace or advanced manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Designing electrical and instrumentation solutions.
• Producing wiring diagrams, schematics and technical documentation.
• Supporting electrical and control system installations.
• Developing and maintaining instrumentation systems.
• Troubleshooting electrical and control system faults.
• Supporting commissioning and testing activities.
• Working with mechanical, vacuum and operations teams.
• Driving continuous improvement of existing systems.
