Job summary

Interaction Recruitment Group is recruiting on behalf of a specialist engineering business in Northampton for a part-time CAD Designer on a 3-month contract with potential extension.

You will produce and modify 2D/3D drawings (Fusion 360) for mechanical and hydraulic systems, ensure manufacturability, and support engineers across projects. Flexible hours: 20-30 per week, rate £25-£30 per hour.

Qualifications

• Create and modify 2D/3D CAD drawings using Fusion 360.
• Produce detailed manufacturing and assembly drawings.
• Support the design of mechanical and hydraulic systems across projects.
• Update existing drawings and maintain revision control.
• Work closely with engineers and project teams to meet requirements.
• Ensure designs are accurate, practical and manufacturable.
• Assist with design improvements and engineering modifications as required.
• Experience with hydraulic systems is advantageous.

Responsibilities
