Job summary

Crafiz Solutions LLP is seeking a skilled CAD Technician to support our team on a flexible, contract basis. The role involves preparing accurate CAD models and drawings across client projects and assisting with documentation as needed.

The ideal candidate has 1–3 years of CAD/drafting experience, is proficient in major CAD software, and can work remotely from the UK on a self-employed basis. Occasional in-person meetings in London may be required.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of CAD/drafting experience.
• Proficiency in major CAD software (SolidWorks, Inventor, AutoCAD, Fusion 360).
• Solid understanding of engineering drawings, GD&T and drafting principles.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong organisational skills and ability to work independently.
• UK-based and able to work remotely.
• Comfortable working on a self-employed contractor basis.

Responsibilities

• Create 2D drawings and 3D models.
• Update and amend technical drawings.
• Prepare fabrication/assembly drawings and documentation.
• Ensure drawings follow relevant engineering and drafting standards.
• Support concept development and design detailing.
