Job summary

Oak Furnitureland is seeking Retail Sales Advisors to be brand ambassadors in our showroom network. You will help customers select from a broad range of furniture, sharing expert knowledge and applying a consultative selling approach to deliver an exceptional experience.

This full-time role offers uncapped commission up to 4% on all sales, a dynamic team environment, and development opportunities. You will work 40 hours per week across 5 days with one weekend off every six, plus generous holiday

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in customer-facing retail environments and delivering an exceptional customer journey.
• Knowledge of sales models and processes, enabling personal targets to be achieved.
• Strong questioning and listening skills with persuasive communication to influence decisions.
• Proven ability to work in high-performing teams and achieve KPIs.
• Understanding of how NPS, Trust Pilot, and repeat business drive sales.
• Knowledge of furniture industry products and Oak Furnitureland USPs and competitors.
• Awareness of regulatory frameworks relevant to retail sector and role.
• Understanding of purchasing motivations and external factors influencing decisions.

Responsibilities

• Provide all customers with an exceptional experience using expert knowledge of Oak Furnitureland's products.
• Follow the Retail Sales Model to make recommendations based on customer needs.
• Contribute to customer satisfaction scores and loyalty, influencing repeat business.
• Consistently achieve personal sales KPIs and support showroom team performance.
• Collaborate with Store Manager and Assistant Manager to maintain an inclusive team culture.
• Work with Visual Merchandising and Facilities teams to keep a safe, inviting showroom.
• Engage with Partners 4 Performance to shape personal objectives and development plans.
• Deliver showroom processes and policies; stay commercially aware of internal/external factors.
• Utilise training materials and communications to keep product knowledge up to date.
• Encourage and enable an omnichannel journey using digital resources and marketing tools.
