Contract: Temporary / Freelance – 3 to 6 months
Potential: Opportunity to become permanent
An excellent opportunity to join a highly regarded independent furniture consultancy working on a major international project for a high-profile client.
We’re looking for an experienced Furniture Coordinator with strong organisational skills, commercial furniture knowledge and practical CAD experience to support a busy account management and interior design team.
This is a hands‑on, fast‑moving role, ideally suited to someone with experience working for a commercial furniture dealer, furniture consultancy or the furniture division of a design and build company.
The business has recently secured a significant project and needs someone who can get up to speed quickly, keep things organised and help deliver it successfully.
Working closely with an Account Manager and Interior Designer, you’ll support the day‑to‑day coordination of furniture specifications, layouts, quotations, samples and supplier information.
You’ll be involved in a single major international project, helping ensure everything from furniture selection through to ordering and delivery is accurately managed.
This is primarily a furniture coordination position, not a standalone interior design role. However, an understanding of interior design and furniture space planning would be a significant advantage.
You’ll join a small, experienced, and well‑respected team with an excellent reputation in the commercial furniture industry.
The initial requirement is for 3 to 6 months, with the flexibility to work on a PAYE temporary contract or an agreed freelance basis.
The position could also develop into a permanent role, depending on ongoing project requirements.
For someone with the right experience who’s available at short notice, this is a great opportunity to work on a substantial international project with a genuinely good company.
