Funeral Plan Arranger – part time, 18.75 hours per week, covering the Cumbria region (Barrow, Ulverston and Kendal).
£13.01 per hour plus benefits.
What you’ll do
- Provide expert guidance to clients on funeral plans, helping them to understand options and plan the perfect service in line with guidelines and regulations.
- Manage your own diary, making and receiving calls, arranging face‑to‑face visits and following up on any enquiries.
- Keep accurate records in line with policies and regulations, ensuring all client documentation is managed safely, with discretion and in a timely manner.
- Work closely with branch teams, supporting funeral plan enquiries and providing administrative assistance when required.
Who you’re a good fit for
- A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
- Experience in sales, customer service, financial services or other client‑facing roles where you helped a client purchase the correct product to meet their needs (advantageous but not required).
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build meaningful relationships with clients, colleagues and the local community.
- A keen eye for detail and accuracy, ensuring regulatory policies and processes are always adhered to.
- Excellent admin and organisational skills, with the ability to work on your own, manage your diary and travel to client meetings when necessary.
- High levels of empathy, discretion and care, with strong listening skills and the ability to understand client needs in a time of vulnerability.
- A passion for delivering great service and providing good outcomes for clients.
