Job summary

The University of Manchester is seeking a Reporting Officer within the Information & Insight team in the Division of Development and Alumni Relations (DDAR). The role supports the collection, management and reporting of activity across fundraising, volunteering and supporter engagement to ensure campaign and divisional data is trusted, understood and used well.

Qualifications

• Experience developing and delivering reports.
• Experience managing stakeholders, planning and process development.
• Experience producing data analysis to steer decisions.
• Strong attention to detail and data ownership.
• Ability to explain data and patterns to varied audiences.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and deliver accurate, timely reports that support Challenge Accepted and wider DDAR activity.
• Collaborate with colleagues across DDAR and the wider University to collect, categorise and manage data.
• Develop clear definitions, processes and documentation so reports are trusted and consistent.
• Explain data and insight clearly so colleagues can understand progress, patterns and decisions.
• Use CRM, reporting and data tools to improve reporting quality and efficiency.
